Diversify Beyond the Stock Market
The recent downturn in the stock market has caused many investors to look "outside the box" at alternative investments. Previously only pensions and institutional managers accessed investments outside of the public markets. Today, PROFORMA Capital is providing asset-based lending investments to individual investors - an investment beyond and not correlated to stock markets.
Asset-Based Lending (Accounts Receivable Financing/Factoring)
In its most basic form, asset based lending refers to a loan where the borrower pledges an asset or assets as security. These secured assets commonly include inventory, accounts receivable or other assets employed in the business. Most factoring transactions made today are structured to be short-term loans with receivables pledged as collateral. PROFORMA Capital recognizes the unique investment opportunity and security in this short-term lending strategy as they offer more control and capital preservation since they are not correlated to the stock market.
